This 6-hour course provides information, skills and hands-on practice necessary for everyday citizens to recognize, respond, and begin to treat traumatic injuries until professional care arrives. This may involve providing first response/first aid in the home (family, loved ones and friends), at work (colleagues, employees and clients) or out in public during social settings, vehicle accidents or natural/man-made disasters.
